(A review of 1984)I missed something from the book, but I really can't say what. The actors were splendid though, John Hurt and Suzanna Hamilton are just perfect in the parts of W.Smith and Julia. It's also great to see the same atmosphere imagined from the book in a big screen. Well, in my case, not big since I watched at home.

do diretor do ladrões de bicicletas (De Sica) tem tb vítimas da tormenta (shoe-shine), q se passa numa febem da época, milagre em milão e umberto d, q dizem ser mais deprimente q o ladrões. nos anos 50, ele começou a fazer umas comédias leves, não tão "neo-realistas". e nos anos 60, ele dirigiu vários filmes estrelados pela Sophia Loren. depois ele morreu.
Te empresto o Metropolis sim, sem problemas. Vou levar amanha, ou na proxima vez que nos encontrarmos.
